Bunk Room #2
So, I couldn’t wait to show y’all our finished product. I am still adding items to the room. But, in our house...that’s a constant. This was the little closet area we came up with. My husband and I love the look of the rope trim, as well.
These quilts I found on Amazon. They are the Hudson Bay fleece quilts. A fraction of the cost of any of their other blankets.
This is an old wash stand. I added some collectibles to it and my husband made me the cute lamp out of a thermos. I have become a thermos/cooler collector during all this. But they are so whimsical. Makes me think of being a kid and going on camping trips with my parents.
Found this hand stitched flag in the box at a local antique store. Score!! More of my thermos madness.😝
My husband is Poarch Creek Indian and I ordered this picture off Etsy. To find out later these colors are very similar to their colors...so it was meant to be. Anyway...I had some old boards I had purchased many many years ago. I bought a simple frame and added the boards in a random color scheme. It turned out so cute.
More of my cooler/thermos issue 🤦♀️. The chair was mine when I was very young.
My projects start out very simple. As we progress into the project many times I will add different elements. This bed now looks as a built in...or at least it does to me. We hope the grandchildren love this room as much as we do.
